Web Summit: Come meet us in Dublin
14 October 2015
We are delighted to announce that we have been invited to the Dublin Web Summit to exhibit as part of Web Summit Alpha - the early-stage startup programme.
Since its start in 2010, the Web Summit has grown to become the largest internet startup conference in Europe and one of the largest in the world. Simply put - it is where the tech world meets. The list of past speakers is impressive with Elon Musk (Tesla & SpaceX), Jack Dorsey (Twitter), Peter Thiel (PayPal), Bono, and countless others from some of the world's most influential companies - Microsoft, Apple, Coca Cola, Uber, Samsung, Nike, Amazon have all attended the event and are only the cream of the crop at this colossal gathering of the industry. Check out their YouTube channel for just some of the insightful and inspiring talks from previous summits.
This year, there are 21 summits - themed events - as part of the conference ranging from the more familiar "Startup", "Investor", "Accelerator" summits to more obscure or specific themes of "Food", "Fashion", "Health tech", or even "Pub Crawl". The latter spurred by the social networking side of the event , often best described by the infamous occurrance of Uber raising $37 million in a post-Web Summit pub event. In other words - it is the place to be.
