European Workers Experiences of Xenophobia in UK Public Sector Jobs

24 April 2025

The aim of the study is to investigate how different modes of discrimination, such as xenophobia, sexism and classism combine to create prejudice for European workers within public sector jobs in the United Kingdom in a safe space. The research also aims to explore whether European workers perceive workplace policies within public sector jobs to minimise discrimination as intended. Your insights will help highlight challenges faced by migrant workers and inform future policy discussions.

Requirements

  • I am inviting European workers in the UK from a wide range of demographics who currently work or have been employed in the past in any public sector jobs in Britain to take part in this study. Participants from particularly marginalised demographics, such as LGBTQ+ or disabled participants especially welcome. Individuals with ongoing trauma or severe mental health issues are discouraged due to the sensitive nature of the research. The research can be fully anonymised with alibi name.
