Gender Euphoria and the Body in Trans and Non-Binary Adults

I am interested in how trans and/or non-binary people experience gender euphoria (or positive emotions relating to gender) and its relationship with their bodies. This is in hopes of understanding the narratives of TNB people around body image and gender. Indicative content might include body satisfaction, transitioning, and gender expression.
The data will be collected through group discussions with 5-6 participants in each group.
Requirements
- 1. Identify as trans man or woman, non-binary, agender, genderqueer or any identity under the trans/non-binary umbrella
- 2. Above 18 years of age
- 3. Currently live in the UK

This study has been approved by the School of Applied Sciences ethics committee at London South Bank University on March 6th 2024.

The researcher is a non-binary individual and aims to create a space for trans and non-binary individuals to have a conversation about lived experiences.
