Exploring the stories of detrans people (RFAB)
29 December 2020
Alongside the increasing visibility of trans culture, there has been a growing awareness that, while many people will be happy with their transition, there are also many people who decide to stop the process of transition or de-transition. There is very little information or understanding out there around this. I want to hear from people who have made these kinds of decisions and I will be asking them to tell their stories in their own way and in their own words.

About the researcher
Hi, I'm Jane Lomax, I am trainee clinical psychologist at the University of Bath. I am passionate about giving voice to marginalised groups and would love to hear your stories. My supervisor is Catherine Butler and we are both interested in research around inclusivity and gender or sexual minorities. We also have a person with lived experience of detransition advising and supporting the development of the project.
