ALCOHOL AND MEMORY STUDY

We are looking for healthy individuals aged between 18-50 who are regular social drinkers, (i.e. consume 2 – 3 pints of beer per week without adverse effects), with no history of alcohol misuse or psychiatric illness. The study involves verbal and computerised tasks, and participants will be given either an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink. The study takes 2.5 hours and aims to understand the effects of alcohol on memory. Data will be protected under the General Data Protection Regulations.

About the researcher
This study is a collaboration between two researchers: led by a trainee clinical psychology doctoral student, and assisted by a masters student in cognitive science.
