Bipolar disorder: How does my mood relate to my brain activity?

Want to help exciting neuroimaging research into the relationship between mood & brain connections? If you have a bipolar diagnosis, aged 18-45 & near London, join this paid study at University College London. This involves one fMRI scan visit and some decision making games as well a short 2-week smartphone-based study You can also request a digital copy of your brain (does not count as health check).

Requirements
- Have a diagnosis of bipolar disorder
- Be under 45 years of age
- Based in London
- No history of a neurological disorder
- No neurodivergence (including autism spectrum, ADHD, learning difficulties)
- No MRI contraindications (e.g., metal implants, pacemakers, severe claustrophobia).
- Has a smartphone with access to internet

This University College London study has been reviewed and given a favourable ethical opinion by the Bloomsbury Research Ethics Committee and The Health Research Authority on 20th October 2020.
