Using Contracts and Relational Values to Improve Supply Chain Performance

24 September 2024

The study explores how contracts and relationships impact supply chain performance in the UK manufacturing industry. Since contracts can't cover every possible situation, building strong relationships based on trust and cooperation helps companies handle unexpected challenges and reduce risks like opportunism. The study aims to determine whether using both contracts and relationships together can improve supply chain outcomes, such as cost, delivery, flexibility and innovation.
