Child-to-parent aggression
14 January 2022
This study investigates child-to-parent aggression which refers to aggression by a young person towards their parent/carer. There is very little research on this topic in the United Kingdom, but research in other countries indicates that this does sometimes happen and that it can have a negative effect for the young person as well as the adult. The current study aimed to help us to further understand these behaviours which may have implications for the ways in which families can be supported.
